Description

This project was designed by Mott MacDonald. The approximate site area of the Industrial warehousing development is 15,000 sqm which is being treated by two separate precast StormFilter systems in an offline configuration. The site is predominantly made up of roof and car park areas hence a 50kL Rain water tank and Swales in conjunction with Enviropods fitted with Oil Sorb (to capture oil and grease) have been used as the primary form of pre-treatment to capture key pollutants such as Suspended Solids. The treatment devices satisfy Blacktown City Council’s Water Quality Objectives of 85% TSS Reduction, 65% TP Reduction, 45% TN Reduction and 90% Gross Pollutant Reduction in accordance with the Development Control Plan 2006 Part R.

Maintenance

The StormFilter system is designed to achieve an annual maintenance frequency with EnviroPods to be serviced every 3-6 months. Periodic inspections and cleans are also scheduled to take place after ma
