Description

The stormwater filtration device installed at Mazda Campbelltown consists of 13 upstream EnviroPods, a rainwater tank and 12 Tall PhosphoSorb cartridges located inside a precast manhole. The water quality objectives for this site at the time of approval was removals of 80% of Total Suspended Solids, 45% of Total Phosphorus, and 45% of Total Nitrogen. From a design perspective, the high efficiency of the model is credited towards adequate pre-treatment being placed upstream of the StormFilters, including the rainwater tank to pre-treat the roof area. This is a commercial site with approximately 7800m² of treated area.

Maintenance

The StormFilter System is designed to achieve annual maintenance cycles. EnviroPods to be serviced every 3-6 months.
