Description

Stormwater360 Australia was specified by Morgan McGuire from Aldanmark Consulting Engineers to undergo the first Filterra® system installation in Tasmania, and the first Filterra® precast pit design in Australia. The Filterra® system was installed for St Ann’s in Old Beach, Tasmania, and was approved by Brighton Council.
Filterra® is a highly effective system that is well-suited for the ultra-urban environment with proven high removal efficiency for many toxic substances such as petrol and heavy metal.
Filterra® is a Stormwater Bio-retention Filtration System, which has been optimised for high volume/flow treatment and high pollutant removal. Its small footprint allows it to be used on highly developed sites, such as landscaped areas, parking lots, and streetscapes. Filterra® is exceedingly adaptable and can be used alone or in combination with other BMPs.
In terms of value, aesthetics, ease of maintenance, versatility, and sustainability Filterra®, ticks all the boxes.
Currently, there are three of nine units installed at the Old Beach development, where the Filterra® Treatment system became active on Monday 4th of June 2018.

Maintenance

Stormwater360 includes a 1-year maintenance plan with each system purchase. Annual included maintenance consists of a maximum of two (2) scheduled visits. Additional maintenance may be necessary depending on sediment and litter loading. The start of the maintenance plan begins when the system is activated for full operation.
